Laced Paper Case Binding

Expand your bookbinding repertoire.  This non-adhesive structure has historic roots. Originally sewn on to leather straps, with vellum covers, this version will use paper straps and soft covers to support the binding and hold the text block in place. This structure has similarities to  the Cross-Structure binding, and the Sewn on Straps bindings from previous classes.
